A Brief Treatise on Love

As I get older, I’m starting to see love as not being two halves of the same whole, but two separate individuals bringing out the best in each other. They aren’t copies of each other; they may not even be similar to each other. But one thing’s for sure: They’re better when they’re together. Kind of like peanut butter and pretzels.
